If Only You Knew

As salaam alaikum,

Unrequited love...is a heavy thing. Maybe with years and more distance from that experience, I will forget how it felt, but with certain words and with certain music, certain memories...I can close my eyes and remember exactly how it felt. Like this song. If I close my eyes, I'm right back there...





And then I open my eyes, and it's all better. :)

But still, I hear this song, and I remember...one of the heaviest emotions I've ever felt is loving someone, hoping though knowing that they'll never feel the same about you.

It was a strong emotion, it inspired a lot in me, but I hope to never feel it, ever again.
